Hi folks! Long time no blog! Today I would like to share with you one of my FAVORITE
new creams! That would be Nature Republic's Super Aqua Max Moisture Cream.
This line has 3 creams that targets specific skin types.
Super Aqua Max Combination Cream (Combination type skin) Green Jar
Super Aqua Max Fresh Cream (Oily Skin) Blue Jar
Super Aqua Max Moisture Cream (Dry Skin) Pink Jar
I personally really love this brand. They use many natural and organic ingredients into their
skincare. I have combination skin but my skin has been so dry lately because of the weather.
The weather in San Francisco has been really cold! I need the heater on daily at work and inside my room so it has definitely dehydrated my skin >_<
I wasn't really attracted by the packaging of this cream but looks never matter to me. It's all about what's inside! What really attracted me about this product though was the SMELL! All of these smell really GOOD!!! The size of the jar is really big, you get a lot of product. I believe that it is 80ml.
The Fresh cream smells like an aftershave that men would normally use ha ha.
The Combination Cream smells like a fresh flower field.
My favorite would be the pink one which also smells like flowers. A little bit like chrysanthemum.
I LOVE chrysanthemum in almost everything. I have a candle and perfume with chrysanthemum aroma.
The product description says:
"Super aqua Max Watery Cream is a high performance hydrating cream which infuses extra moisture and refreshment back to the skin with an energizing complex of deep sea minerals from maritime plants while extracts of chlorella, seaweed, plankton and water soluble collagen and hyaluronic acid helps to strengthen your skins ability to defend itself against external aggressors and dehydration.
Continuing, this cream in texture is REALLY thick! After application, it feels a little bit stick and it takes a while to fully absorb. I definitely recommend this for night time only. If you use this during the day, under makeup, it would give a really nice dewy finish! Remember to use less during the day though. Not recommended for oily skin.
I have used this product for about 1 week and have definitely noticed that my skin has been less dry, less flaky and my makeup stays longer than usual. Sometimes i feel that when your skin is not moisturized enough, you tend to get more oily because your skin knows that it is dry so it mass produces oil to try to moisturize for you. >_<
All in all i really like this cream, i think i will try the Combination one next.
